Roasted Red Pepper Remoulade  —    Liquid Butter Alternative
Ingredients:
1/4 cup Pasteurized Egg Yolks
1 cup Crisco Professional® Liquid Butter Alternative Oil
1 6 oz Jar Roasted Peppers, drained
1/4 Shallots, minced
1 T Creole Mustard
1 t Dry Mustard
1 t Lemon Juice
2 t Minced Garlic
1/2 t Sugar
1/2 t Salt
1/4 t Ground Red Pepper
Method:
1. Place egg yolks, lemon juice, salt, sugar, dry mustard and red pepper in bowl of food processor. With processor running, pour Crisco Professional® Liquid Butter Alternative Oil slowly through chute, in a steady stream, stopping to scrape down sides as needed. Pour mixture into a small bowl.
2. Process roasted peppers and the rest of the ingredients in food processor, pulsing until smooth. Fold roasted pepper mixture into egg mixture.
3. Cover and chill until ready to serve.
